Gudem Gutta is a famous temple place in the Adilabad District in the northern Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh. It has the famous “Sri Ayyappa Swamy (Abinava Shabarimal) Temple”.

In 1976 Sriman Chakravarthula Purushotamacharya has taken Ayyappa Deeksha in Sabarimala. From that beginning he continuously taken Deeksha with great devotion and he have learned Anganysa Karanysa Thantrika Pooja in Sabarimala, Kerala State. From Narayanan Nambudri, in 1985. He has completed 18 years Deeksha continuously and he become a Guruswamy.

From the date He did many poojas in Telangana Districts Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Hyderabad etc. He had many Bhaktas form the Districts. He did Pooja great Mandala Pooja, Makara villaku, and padi poojostavam type of Tantrika pooja kerala vidanam.

In 1990, He visited Godavari Parivahake Prantam and he and his Bhaktas swa the place decided that to build up a temple there in 1990 November. He did Bhoomi Pooja of Ayyappa Temple Gudem. He did many poojas and collected money from his special devotees from the devotees. His Dakshina and everything he expended to the temple.

He did hardwork for the temple in 1993 May, 31st. He did vigraha prathishta with great effort, pratishta did by Sri Vidya Nrushima Bharati Theerta Swamy, Pushpagiri Peetadipathi.

Then he selected as a honorary member in Akhila Bharata Seva Sangam (Ayyappa) Sannidhanam Shabarimala, Kerala State.
